How do you make a Video on Toner? Most toner videos has to do with one of two topics: either how to change a toner cartridge, or how to refill the toner. If that sounds like the same thing to you, hold it! There are actually important differences.
When you refill a toner cartridge it means you are keeping the cartridge that is in the machine. You are simply pouring more toner into the cartridge from a refill bottle of some kind. This allows you to keep using the same cartridge, and that in turn holds down cost. Refilling is ideal when you are dealing with large high-throughput printers like in an office environment. Many home printers are now able to be refilled as well and this can be great way to save money that you can put toward something else.
Replacing a toner cartridge is different. This means you are actually disposing of the whole cartridge. This usually means the cartridge is faulty, because otherwise it would be a waste. The exception is some smaller printers that have cartridges that are meant to simply be tossed and replaced. This is because the cost difference between cartridges and refills for such small units would be negligible, and a disposable unit is easier to handle than trying to refill it.
This method is fine if it applies to your printer, but any time you need to replace the cartridge be sure you recycle the old one (most manufacturers have a recycling program and instructions on their website). There is no reason to be wasteful!
